Drafts of ideas for posters

The poster in which i am going to create will be given away for free with the film magazine, therefore the poster will be either A2 or A3 format as it will feature over one or two pages.
By gathering information from existing posters i have decided to feature the headline 'The Hunted' at the bottom of the poster, my reasons for this is that i think it gives off a subtle effect to the poster almost like at the end of a trailer when the title of the film is revealed. The main image in the draft establishes the main area of the film, which is the creepy forest in which Ellie walks through. For my final poster I would want the trees and woodland area to be featured, my reasons for this being that forests can be viewed as being stereotypical therefore making it a generic convention it also gives off a scary vibe! As the stalker is not revealed in the trailer (which makes it ambigous for the audience) I would like to add a twist by including the hand of the follower, this immediately projects to the audience that the storyline to the film will feature a stalker. The camera will also act as the stalker, as it appears as if the picture is the immediate point of view of the strange follower.
The quotes which are pictured on the image show class and strong positive opinions about the film giving the audience positive feedback, the effect of this being the public trust successful newspapers therefore their opinion helps with the progression and success of the film. The quotations used are simple and perhaps stereotypical phrases, to project the information across to the audience. Underneath the headline 'The Hunted' I have included five rating stars to reveal and add an extra element of quality and proffessionalism to the poster.

This poster is another idea in which I have come up with which I may use when creating my final poster. The main image on the poster features a large tree which exists in the forest this establishes the main location and possibly what the film is going to include. Ellie (the main character) is displayed with her face looking anxiously around the tree appearing physically frightened and timidly behind the tree appearing as if someone is watching her, which is the effect I am after as the film is based around a stalker. I have also included quotations from popular and well known magazines/newspapers therefore increasing the films popularity and success. The title of the film 'THE HUNTED' is displayed in capital letters as the headline of the poster therefore to reflect importance and grasp the readers attention. The date in which the film is going to be released is also featured beneath the headline so that the reader knows when to expect the release of the film, it will also let the public be alerted as listen out for the exact release date of the film. However when coming to make my final product I may publish an exact date to make the poster appear more precise.

Conventions of Horror film Posters

When analysing existing film posters I noticed that one of the key generic conventions featured in Horror film posters are that the main characters/character is featured on the poster, therefore projecting to the audience that they are the the main focus in the film and that the storyline will be based around them. The way in which the main characters are posing can be viewed as being very important in representing the genre of the poster, as it has come to my attention that on horror posters the characters are displayed in a very serious and perhaps mysterious way to deliberately represent the genre, this also gives off an ambigous tone to the public, therefore creating them to feel intrigued in the film. In many horror posters the characters are featured wearing normal, everyday clothes to create a naturalistic affect and verisimilitude therefore this has helped me in planning for my own horror film poster. In some cases the image is seen within the film, better known as still shots. An advantage of using these is that it immediately tells the audience that this location perhaps will be involved in the film frequently and possibly one of the most exciting parts in the film.

The title of the film beign the headline on the poster is also seen as very important in the success of the film itself, therefore apart from the main image this is the focus of the poster. In the three existing posters in which I have analysed I noticed that the title was featured underneath the main image, therefore not drawing attention away from the main image however creating a subtle effect. The colouring of the title's of horror films are usually in red or black, these two colours often have connatations being danger and importance.
Another convention of horror film posters is the use of featuring quotes from successful and well known magazines and newspapers with their opionions and ratings of the film, this can make the public trust the newspaper/magazine with its positive reviews and feedback, the low-budget however extremely successful hit horror film 'Paranormal Activity' used several quotes about the film, this can be seen as perhaps helping the film progress and draw in the audience it needs.
Another component which is often used is including famous actors who have starred in several hit films, this projects to the audience that the film is therefore good quality as it has hired in very talented actors and actresses.

At the bottom of the poster a website is presented so that the reader can access exclusive and extend the research and information about the film. Individuals involved in the making and processing of the film are displayed in a smaller font and text as they have the right to be featured! Further aspects which are frequently included are logos or aspects which have affected the film an example being the 'Restricted' logo which shows to the audience that this film is not suitable for under 18s, projecting that this film is possibly very frightening!

Drafts of film magazine front covers

This is a possible layout in which I will apply to my final magazine front cover. The masthead of the magazine "ACT!ION" is featured at the top of the front cover, with help of analyising existing texts I came to realise that all of the magazine front covers analysed featured the masthead being the name of the magazine at the top of the front cover, therefore I have applied these ideas to the draft i have created. The masthead "ACT!ON" will be featured in a large font as this is the name of the magazine and is an important component when advertising to fellow fans of films. The image shown will be the main image of the front cover, this I have also taken from analysis of existing texts. In my opinion I like having the main image being the background of the front cover as this focuses the readers eyes straight to the image and therefore to the film. The main image shown is the main character displayed in the film (Ellie) she is shown glancing behind a tree in the dark and gloomy forests in which she takes a shortcut home through, my reasons for placing Ellie in this pose would be because it adds an element of creepyness and mysteriousness! With only seeing half of Ellie it keeps the audience guessing as to what she is hiding from, the use of including the tree establishes the location in which most of the trailer will be set, this also helps the public understand the plot. If I used this image as my final image I would feature 'Ellie' in a piece of clothing in which is featured in the trailer to keep up with the continuity.
The phrase 'Free poster inside' can be viewed as being a screamer (attracting and drawing the reader into purchasing the magazine) this therefore can be linked with my other anxcillary text which is the film poster, as i think this is a creative aspect as you often see magazines giving away posters on upcoming popular films, it is also a good advertising and marketing technique. The title of the film 'The Hunted' is placed underneath the free poster representing the headline which almost acts as an intro for the brand new hit film to be introduced! The headline 'The Hunted' will be stressed in a large font so that as much attention is drawn to it as it is the main focus of the page, it will also be placed next to the main character Ellie's face to create an ambigous element for the readers. Underneath 'The Hunted' I have gathered together exciting aspects as to which would draw in readers into wanting to read the film magazine, for example I have used the word 'Exclusive' which makes the reader feel priviliged! I deliberately used the word 'catched' almost as a pun to the storyline as it is about a stalker catching up with it's victim! Included also on the front cover are several smaller images which will be made to look like they are screen shots of behind the scenes or from the trailer, so that the reader knows what they are expecting to read and view. In magazines there are always competitions and prizes to give away, this can be seen as being a modern day contemporary feature. Consequence to this I have added a giveaway prize to the Bafta Awards as this gives a realistic aspect to the magazine and gives it a sense of quality by including 'The Baftas'. At the bottom of the front page I have added a small advertising strip which is another feature involved in the magazine, also by analysising other existing and contemporary magazine front covers I have discovered that many of these do this, also being another possible advertising technique. Therefore again I may apply this attribute to my final product.

The main image on this front cover is fairly similar to the main image featured in the first draft, as it features a tree in the woodland area with 'Ellie' the main character stood next to it. However, 'Ellie' will be posed in a different way with her head turned around looking shocked and alarmed as if she has come face to face with her stalker! This immediately projects to the reader the genre of the film and also perhaps the plot and storyline as the camera shot acts as the stalker itself, which is the effect in which I am after if I choose to use this draft for my final production piece.


The masthead of the magazine 'ACT!ION' is again displayed at the top in a large font, however I have added an advertising strip so that I could add text for example 'Review of top 100 films of the decade' this is an interesting aspect of the magazine which would definately draw in film lovers. Again the headline of the film 'The Hunted' is placed next to the main image to show the link and connection between the two, it also adds mystery and suspense. The sub-headline in which I have featured underneath the headline 'ACT!ION meets the victim...' keeps the film alive and adds a realistic perspective for the audience. Included are pictures of behind the scenes images taken from the trailer to show the reader that this is pure exclusiveness! Featured at the bottom of the magazine front cover is another strip like at the top however advertising 'behind the scenes at the new Harry Potter film' this could be seen as adding an element of Postmodernism by using intertextual referencing of current films to this day.






This is the third draft I created, this layout very much differs from the other two. The main image featured is a close-up of 'Ellie' with her hand over mouth in shock, this could again establish to the audience that there will be a vast amount of shock in this film and could perhaps represent a specific part in the film were 'Ellie' faces a large amount of distress! If I used this draft for my final production I would again keep up with the continuity by featuring the main character in clothing which is used in the trailer, perhaps were 'Ellie' is confronted by her follower! The name of the film magazine "ACT!ON" is displayed just under halfway down the page, I experimented when doing this and have realised that having the name of the magazine this low down on the page could perhaps confuse the reader when looking at the front cover of the magazine as the title of the film 'The Hunted' is featured higher up than 'ACT!ON' therefore this could be easily confused. Underneath 'ACT!ON' there is a prize included again to offer opportunities for the reader which is vital and can also help the reader engage and possibly included. I have used a language device in the form of repition such as ' Exlusive, exclusive and...exclusive!' this stresses the exclusivness of the magazine to the readers. Again at the bottom of the front cover there is a strip including other interesting aspects of the film magazine and in a smaller font other hit films such as 'Paranormal Activity' again this can be associated with Postmodernism and the world in which we live in today.

Ideas for film magazine name

As the name of the film magazine is an important aspect of the final production, to help me in my decision I decided to produce a brainstorm of possible ideas for the name of the magazine as seen in image. When looking at the several different names I attempted to choose the best suitable name which would suit the genre of the magazine (film), therefore I opted with the name "ACT!ON" my reasons for doing so were firstly because it immediately reminded me of the directors cut 'lights, camera...action!' this is automatically associated with movies and films. The verb 'action' can be seen as a connotation of a great deal of energy, this then could reflect the amount of energy and postive verbs 'ACT!ON' has to offer to the public. I decided to replace the 'I' to an '!' as I thought it was unique and reflected that I wanted to add a touch of my creativeness to the front cover. I have deliberately applied speech marks to "ACT!ON" so that it almost appears realistic to the readers, it can also make them recognise that it is linked to the directors cut when working with films/movies.
Track- I originally took it from the word 'soundtrack' which I often associate with films, it could also be associated with the tracking of a camera capturing action!
Film1st- I thought this had a proffesional sound to it as it clearly establishes the genre of the magazine, and the number '1' often indicates the best.
Topfilm! The clue is in the name, symbolising only the best is featured in this magazine.
Cut- The name 'Cut' immediately represented the cut of a director when shooting a film, therefore would be very suitable for a film magazine's name.
View- This could be associated with the view in which the audience have of the film and could possibly be associated with the editors view on specific and upcoming films.
Watch!- Immediately assoicated with watching the hit films, and which is best.
Engage- I think this would be an interesting name for a film magazine, as the editor wants the readers to engage with the magazines and inparticular the films featured.

Analysis of existing film posters

When first looking at this poster my immediate reaction was to how subtle it was, however it is clear that is attempting to provide a message and almost signify that the film is going to be revolved perhaps about the eye and sight. The eye featured on the poster appears to be very alert which therefore could be associated with the effect the film will have on the audience such as keeping them in suspense and on their toes. The photograph of the eye also looks like the character has possibly just opened their eye, this could again reflect to plot and storyline of the film. The way in which the eye is I think the colouring of the poster plays a very important role in the tone in which it is setting, the colour of the eye is murky brown colour this combines with the darkness of the eye lids, this all suggests that the mood is dark and gloomy, this also contrasts with the white background colouring, this could be assoiciated with contrasts in characters in the film and potential evil. The way that it's just the eye which is only featured and no other image suggests the pure importance and relevance of the eye, it opens up lexical fields for the film such as blidness, sight, witnessing events and many other factors which could be linked with an eye. The hands which are grasping onto the surface of the eye are perhaps placed in that way to add an element of mystery and creepiness, it could also be to symbolise a character who could be returning or after the main character. By doing this it adds a sense of ambigouity to keep the audience intrigued so that they view the film. The picture and the title of the film 'The Eye' have great relevance to one another, however by using just two words for the name of the title gives away little clues as to what the plot of the of the film could be about. Like many other film posters if there are famous actors/actresses they are usually displayed onto the poster this is a great way of attracting many more potential viewers for the film as by having a large star in the film it helps its progression and success. The producers, editors and other individuals involved in the making of the film are featured discretely at the bottom of the film poster this may be because the editors do not want to make any other images or text to draw attention away from the main image of the eye.

This poster appears slightly different compared to 'The Eye' poster as it features other further conventions of a poster, an example of one of these is quotations from magazines and newspapers. The phrase "Paranormal Activity is one of the scariest movies of all time..." the use of including the adjective 'scariest' makes the horror film sound really frightening and the use of the quotations from a well known magazine/newspaper almost makes the reader trust their viewpoint, therefore motivates them into going and viewing the film.
As the horror film is about a couple who set up video cameras in their home as they think their house is haunted, the editors have used a still image from the film and used it to appear as the main image on 'Paranormal Activity's film poster, this is really important as it sets the tone of the film and gives a helpful idea to the audience as to what the film will include as it displays the time and immediately projects to the audience that it is set out to be home filmed. The
couple in the image suggest to the audience that these two characters are going to be the main characters in the film, the couple are sat up with what seems to be a large space between them and the door indicating that a spirit is present in the room. As this is the first horror film to be set out in this way, it shows to the audience that this a unique film and is worth going to see. The name of the film 'Paranormal Activity' explains to the audience that it is going to revolve around the spirtual world for example demons, poltergeists and ghosts. The title is produced in the colour red which to many people symbolises danger and importance, which could possibly be associated with the film. The quotes above and below the title such as 'Don't see it alone' really adds suspense and tension for the reader and adds an extra element of scaryness, with only four words featured in the short phrase it makes the piece of text sound serious. Information such as websites about 'Paranormal Activity' is displayed underneath the image and important pieces of text therefore this can be compared to 'The Eye' poster in not wanting to draw attention away from the main image, title and other important areas displayed on the poster.

Friday the 13th is not only a film but also consists of novels, television shows and comic books. The film mainly focuse on 'Jason' who has returned in his after life as a mass killer. When first looking at the poster the audience can immediately recognise the genre of the film, the use of the low camera angle makes 'Jason' appear extremely powerful and frightening therefore this also makes the audience question his role. However he is featured holding a weapon this definately suggests the character in which 'Jason' is playing. The dark colouring of the image can be associated with a negative feeling and in this case the image is extremely dark and appears to be set in a woodland area with a lake, this area could possibly be the main area in which 'Jason' commits several of his killings. The light displayed behind Jason's head suggests their may be some hope for some of his victims involved in the film. At the top of the poster the phrase 'Welcome to Crystal Lake' can be viewed as ironic as the 'Welcome' is often seen in a positive light and associated with holidays, however this is combined with the frightening and gloomy image featured on the poster which perhaps adds a comic element as it is extremely ironie and possibly sarcastic. The title of the film 'Friday the 13th' works cleverly with the genre as the day Friday the 13th is considered as a suspicious and unlucky day, consequently it could be many characters unlucky day as they meet Jason. The title is pictured in red which i have noticed is used in many posters and magazine front covers, so i may apply this idea to my own anxciallary text. The credits of the film are featured at the bottom of the page in a smaller font which is like the other two posters in which i have analyised, the main purpose so that it doesn't draw attention away from the image, title and other essential areas.

Analysis of existing film magazine front covers

Empire Magazine is the biggest film magazine published in Britain and is published monthly, it's first ever issue was made in July 1989.
When first looking at this magazine front page, the masthead of the magazine stood out very clearly! The masthead 'EMPIRE' makes the magazine sound like royality, which I think is important for the success of the magazine itself. The masthead featured on the magazine is also featured in the colour red, which can be seen as having connotations for importance, urgence and can also be seen as sympolising the energy of an object. When looking at the colours portrayed on the front cover they are all bright and jump out at the reader, this is a look which many editors go for so that there magazine stands out from the rest. The use of the colour flureouscent green can be seen as a connotation of sci-fi films which can be linked to the main article featured in the magazine which is the hit science fiction film 'Batman'. However amongst the large title, the main focus (main image) on the front cover is the joker out of 'Batman-The Dark Knight' played by Heath Ledger. The joker was quoted as 'the mass murdering, psychopathic schizophrenic clown with no empathy'- wikipedia, however also the most talked about character featured in 'The Dark Knight'. By adding the Joker as the main and only image on the front cover it gives off almost a horror genre/science fiction sense about the magazine, it also projects to the audience that this is the upcoming and 'must see' film of the month. Therefore this is information I can apply to my final product. What i like about the front page is that the Joker's head is covering part of the masthead 'Empire' perhaps suggesting that his character has a great deal of power and is possibly looked upon as a powerful character. The Joker is sat in what looks like to be a form of a prison setting, immediately establishing to the readers that this character is dangerous and perhaps evil! It also shows the audience that this is the number one enemy of Batman. The setting of the photograph is used as the background of the front cover therefore implying again that this is the main article featured in the magazine.
'Meet the Joker' can be seen as a sub-heading, this creates a fun and exciting concept about the article almost as if the character is real and has come alive for the audience to get a chance to meet and engage with the Joker himself. A quote from the film is revealed in the form of a teller which reveals to the audience the motive of the character 'He's a cold blooded, mass murdering clown!' this immediately shows to the reader that this character is evil, and adds an element of suspense to the film. Empire refer to meeting the Joker as 'one on one with BATMAN'S new memisis' this adds a sense aggression and perhaps reflects the Joker's character, it however makes the article sound interesting.
On the right handside of the page there are several smaller articles which are also large to the readers interest, the films featured are also big hits such as 'I Am Legend', 'The Mummy Returns' and many others, the effect of this makes the magazine appear upto date, modern and good quality. At the very top of the magazine the text ' The Dark Knight- World Exclusive' this makes Empire extremely impressive, and will draw many readers into buying as the main word 'Exclusive' is looked upon as rare, this could also be seen as a buzz word as it draws in the readers.
Towards the bottom right hand side of the front cover there is a fluroescent cross and also a purple streak which appear to have the look of being graffitied on, this adds an element of rebelism possibly by the Joker himself, which again projects his character to the audience.
The 'Batman' symbol which is a black bat is used in the centre at the top of the page, this adds an extra element of excitement that 'Batman' himself has returned! The symbol has stayed the same throughout each film which makes the bat symbolic to all audiences.


'Total Film' magazine is the second best selling film magazine, the purpose of the magazine is to advertise new releases and also DVDs, reviews and many other features. 'Total Film' is released every four weeks, and was first released in 1997. The main image on the front page is three characters from the very famous film 'The Lord Of The Rings', therefore the audience recognise that this is going to be the main feature in the magazine. The characters are presented to look serious and perhaps concerned, this could possibly be reflecting what the film is going to entail and that the film is going to be dramatic and emotional. The setting and time zone of the film can also be spotted by the use of the mise-en-scene such as the clothes in which the characters are wearing, this tells the audience that the film is possibly set in a different era and magical world. 'Legolas' the character featured at the far right is photographed with his bow and arrows on his back, this could be seen as key to almost represent the genre of the film as it shows to the audience that there will be a vast amount of fighting, therefore an action film. Two smaller further pictures which appear to be action shots also help the reader to establish the genre of the film, and almost invites them into what the film is about.
The masthead of the film magazine is made up of two words, however the proper noun 'Film' is displayed in a larger font, I think this is a clever idea as it draws the reader in to the magazine, the reader immediately knows that the magazine is film based. The colour white could be viewed as being a connotation of a very neutral and peaceful feeling.
The textual phrase 'It's amazing people didn't get killed' (which is shown next to the photograph of the three characters) adds an aspect of excitement for the reader and it could be said as almost urging them to go and see the film as the scenes are so tense and realistic someone could have got hurt. The title of the film 'The Two Towers' is suitably presented next to the characters so that the readers can link the two together, as it is featured in the centre of the front cover this is often associated as the main and most important feature of the magazine, therefore I will take this into account when producing my anxiallary texts. Likewise with 'Total Film' it uses the buzz word 'Exclusive' which i have noticed is a popular word to use to draw in attraction as it makes the magazine sound special and the reader should feel privileged to be reading exclusive footage!
The colours used for the text featured are mainly red, yellow and white, all of these colours are seen as vibrant colours perhaps reflecting the content of the magazine and the main article featured on the frontpage of the magazine. At the top of the front page there are are three hit films displayed, to me this displays subtleness as if it is normal for 'Total Film' to feature big hit films in their magazine. Therefore, this a positive element for the magazine and it makes the magazine appear impressive. At the bottom of the front cover there is a section promoting 'MASSIVE DVD and video collection' using the adjective 'massive' to describe the size of the collection this is again using a clever device to intrigue the reader and to mark a positive imput to the reader. The adjective 'massive' is also featured in the colour red which can be seen as a connatation of urgent issues and importance, however again these impressive devices are featured at both the top and bottom of the page perhaps this is were the eye gets drawn to after focusing on the centre of the page. These can be viewed as being screamers as they are wanting to draw the public into purchasing the magazine.

SFX was first published in 1995 and is devoted to science-fiction and fantasty films, it is one of the recognisable magazines in the UK.
The masthead of the title 'SFX' is not an actual word unlike the other two magazines which I have analysed, therefore this a key idea into which I can apply to my final product as using letters for my magazine title can often have more meaning and become ambiguous to the reader. The title's colour scheme could almost be seen as a glowing white which works well with the bright colours featured in the main image on the cover. The glowing white of the masthead matches the dramatic name and colour of the hit film 'AVATAR' which is the major article involved in the film magazine. 'Avatar' took fifteen years to create and cost around $300 million to produce, therefore this film was bound to be a success. Therefore, to feature the film on the front cover will excite the reader and perhaps help them connect with the story and the plot of the film.
At the top of the cover the bold statement 'The World's Number One Sci-Fi and Fantasy Magazine' is presented, this again makes the reader feel priveliged and that the magazine is special! I have noticed many similarities with the film magazine front pages in which i have analysed such as the font colours featured are often red, yellow and white. One of the main similarities is that the the front cover is made up of a main image from the dominant article involved in the magazine, this has given me many ideas for my own anxcillary text. However the image advertised on the front cover is the main focus of the cover because of the use of the bright blue colours of the magical species, this immediately projects to the audience that 'Avatar' is a Science Fiction film also with the use of the magazine specialising in Fantasy and Sci-Fi movies makes the magazine more specific. The way in which the two characters are posed tells the reader that the film could perhaps be serious and dramatic in parts and also suggests that the two characters will be possibly the main characters and the film may revolve around them. I personally like and think it is a positive effect by having the only image being the characters from Avatar as it promotes the film very well and the magazine appears good quality. SFX also displays a well known saying in the form of a kicker 'Don't feel blue...' this is a popular saying in the UK and it is nicely combined with 'It's Avatar' which cleverly works with the colour scheme of the creatures featured in the film. The producer of the film 'James Cameron' is highlighted in the yellow colour compared to that of the rest of the sentence which is displayed in the colour white, therefore this clearly focuses in on the producer of the film who has been producing the film for fifteen years. At the bottom of the page there are several different television shows/ presenters such as 'Jonathan Ross' and 'Being Human' this is a tactical way of advertising the television shows/ upcoming shows by featuring them on a very successful and good quality magazine.

THE CONVENTIONS OF FILM MAGAZINES - From analysing three existing and contemporary film magazine front pages, I have recognised that the masthead and the main image are the centre focuses of the front cover. In all three existing front pages in which I have analysed the masthead has been featured at the top of the page in the largest font involved on the cover, therefore to almost scream out at the audience the name of the magazine! The masthead often uses a bold and bright colour scheme, often featured in the colour red. Therefore, this has many connotations often being urgence and importance!
The main image involved on the front page, reflects the main article featured in the magazine. The effect this has on the reader is that it establishes and tells them what to expect from the film magazine. In order to project the title of the film, the publisher displays the name of the film in the basis of creating a heading featured on the front page of the magazine. Often quotations are displayed in the form of a sub-heading, either displayed above or below the heading. To immediately attract and draw in the reader, screamers are used which often offer competitions or prizes in which the reader can feel perhaps involved. An example would be on the front cover of Total film 'Free prizes' this gives the reader an opportunity to win and take part in events and competitions.
An important aspect in which the front pages offer is showing information about the main headline/main image, this is better known as Kickers they are often displayed underneath the heading or sub-heading. Images from possible stories included in the magazine are frequently used on the front pages of film magazines, reflecting the information incorparated in the magazine. All of these features and many more are also located in any other type of magazine front page, as the conventions are shared.

Production plan

I have created a production plan to keep myself organised and upto date as to what needs to be finished and finalised.
February week 1 - upto date on blog, finish off remaining filming work, gather music which will combine well with film trailer.
February week two - upload music samples, fit music to shots, try different editing techniques to which we think is most appropriate and suitable for the trailer.
February week 3 - photographs/experiment for poster and magazine front cover, brainstorm different ideas for names for the magazine,.
February week 4 - attempt to finalise editing and add finishing touches, make sure up to date with skills development book which will help with my evaluation.
March week 1 - create drafts of the two anxiciallary texts, and finalise to give the time to add adjustments if not satisfied with final piece.
March week 2 - gather all ideas in skills development book and draft up an evaluation.
March week 3- make sure everything is finalised and upto date!
