Shooting Schedule
As the trailer is mainly set in a woodland area we are relying on clear weather, also the shooting may run over a couple of days therefore the weather will need to be moderately the same to keep up with the continuity. However we have made lots of time to film the outside scenes, as we may watch it back and decide to re-shoot as the lighting or specific area in which we have decided to film may not be suitable.
On the first day we shoot a small amount of the trailer in the woodland area, this is so that we can watch it back and check that the lighting and area is suitable for our film trailer. We will then attempt to get all of the outside filming done, as it will be quick and sharp shots establishing the storyline, area and genre of the trailer. However we have kept days aside incase anything had to be re-shot or established.
As the other location used is a bedroom, we allowed a day so that we could prepare the bedroom to look as we wished and adjust the lighting.
Shooting Script
As I am producing a horror teaser trailer there will not be a great deal of speaking involved in the trailer, however the speech which is included will be vital to the audience so that it provides them with key information.
ESTABLISHING SHOT of Ellie on Monday as she is making her way through the forest on her way home from college, she calls her mother to let her know she is on her way home.
(Ellie is speaking to her mother on the phone) Ellie: Hi mum, yes I'll be home soon.
ESTABLISHING SHOT of Ellie on Wednesday to project to the audience of her whereabouts and that she takes this shortcut everyday to and from college.
(Ellie phones her mother, and speaks to her in an anxious tone) Ellie: Mum i really don't want you to go away this weekend, i have a really bad feeling about it.
MEDIUM SHOT of Ellie in her bedroom, showing her franticness.
(phoning her mum terrified) Ellie: Mum! I think someone's in the house!
CLOSE UP of Ellie as she becomes face to face with her follower
(screaming) Ellie: ARGHHH!
